I do have a fitting guide but not for MY01's. However, I did watch Dr Evil change his forge DV @ Donno a month or so ago, and it did not look to difficult.

I reckon the main difference in the price is due to the importation costs, shipping etc.

I've got the Forge and it's very good but the Blitz IMHO is a nicer bit of kit. It's also rated not to leak up to 2 bar whereas I don't know about the Forge.

I do agree though about the price, it is abit on the high side. My brother was in the States at Xmas and the Blitz DVs over there were $199.99 - lot cheaper than here.

Might be worth your while to buy one from US on the net??

After not really wanting one of these bus sound a like things to start with I have finaly been won over!
But which one do I go for? The choice seems to be one of two, the Forge motorsport or Blitz SUS Super Sound Dump Valve. Now the prices differ by about 150 - 250 ?
Why is this and does anyone know which is best?

Regards,

Paul

PS I know nothing about dump valves!

Paul,
Prices I got quoted were £125 for the Forge and £250 for either a Blitz or HKS. Having ploughed through the threads here and picked peoples brains I cannot justify spending double the money for essentially the same product and have just bought the Forge.

Apologies to kinda hijack your thread a bit here but does anyone have, or know where there is, a step by step guide with piccies for installing these on a MY01. I've heard that one bit of the fitting is particularly tricky without a very long thin pair of pliers or a customised tool.

Paul - just noticed that you have a very interesting posted date!
