As above really!
Just purchased some 18" Rota GRA's with 215/35/18 rubber how much can I lower my car without rubbing or adversley affecting the handeling? cheers in advance fellow sneters:thumb: |
35-40mm springs teins etc would be good for it
|
Mine was lowered about 60mm on coilovers, check my garage if you wanna look. It didnt rub with one set of wheels and then i changed them and the new ones rubbed!
|
until you hear it scrapping :thumb:.
only messing. i think mine is dropped around 50-60mm on coilovers. im contemplating going a little more. but my car is solid as a rock with all strut braces and some negative camber going on |
what about if tour not going coilover route?
Im thinking tein lowering springs with the Kyb adustables or new std shocks with lowering springs? thanks guys |
tein springs are a good spring and lower the car about 40mm which is enough and are solid with standard shocks.

i had sti shocks and eibachs , running 215.35.18 and it used to rub on hard cornering
|
Mine rubbed so much I had to take them off:cry::cry: My car is slammed though - top of the tyre is level with the arch. With my tired shocks if I ran over a twig the tyre sidewall caught the arch. The BC Coilovers on order from the groupbuy should sort this though :thumb:
