What on earth is this thread on about? Why is everyone saying "cant wait" when we have no idea what he's on about and he doesnt even give a hint. Nothing is that top secret that you cant say something about it. I reckon this thread will carry on till April 1st and then he'll tell you what its all about!!!!!!!

Its a wire we need to disconnect to make all our Scoobies safe and secure see???

Its number 13 wire on the ECU just pull that out and it will electrify the car panels with 50,000 volts if anyone tries to start the car see?? - it diverts all the energised coil power to the b4st4rds goolies!!

So, keep it all a secret ok?

Pete

I have this already…. Every time I close the door on my 00 turbo, I get a static shock from the door panel. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif I hesitate every time I have to close it, I now know how those patients feel after shock treatment..!!

Any ideas on how to stop this (apart from wearing rubber gloves!) gratefully appreciated.

Paul Wilson 18 February 2001 07:07 PM

Rogerscoo,
try holding onto a metal part of the car when getting out, shock dissipates over the whole hand , can't feel it at all. Then when you go to close the door, you and the car have the same charge as each other hence no shock.

Probably work http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
