Who's free tomorrow to put it all back in for me?:D

hoskib 25 August 2009 09:58 PM

now, i like trying to find those annoying squeeks as much as the next man, but that's just taking the pi55:eek:

i'd love to help but unfortunately you've left on the only bit i know;) tell a lie, i could refit the gear knob:thumb:

mike h 25 August 2009 10:32 PM

I imagine there'll be a few new squeeks when it's back together, and a few bit's left over! :lol1:
As long as the heaters work then I'm happy, the stereo will drown out the squeeks.:D

zeuss 25 August 2009 10:49 PM

haha i only pulled my steering wheel off and now i have an annoying squeek lol

ScoobyDoo69 25 August 2009 11:21 PM

haha what made you want to do that?!

360ste 25 August 2009 11:23 PM

Is this for a new series of pimp my ride or the american overhaul series?

GMballistic 25 August 2009 11:24 PM

I'm guessing the heater matrix has gone then :D . What a nightmare, happened to my mate and I didn't envy him having to do that either...........Goodluck :thumb: (you might need it :) )

Jolly Green Monster 25 August 2009 11:49 PM

done it three times.. gets easier each time.. apparently :)

when you find stuff doesn;t work.. some of the interior fuses are in the engine bay fuse box.. I was impressed to find my alarm wiring installed going through some of the loom so I had to cut wires and rejoin etc.. brilliant.. lol

lmao @ ian

scooby(puppy power) 26 August 2009 02:03 AM

never had to do one on my impreza, had to do one on a granada and a vw passat both pains in the arse, you would think they would be able to design it so you could take a cover of the top of the dash and hey presto there it is,

cookie sti 26 August 2009 02:06 AM

if that was the case these main dealers would be out of over £55 an hour to do what you can do. and then where would the economy be lol

ScoobyNudge 26 August 2009 09:42 AM

lockley 26 August 2009 11:28 AM

You'd never know would you!:lol1:
The heaters are spot on now. Matrix had a teeny weeny hole in it. If anyone wants one changed I will do it for £500.:D
It's taken me all day to get it back together. 12v soldering irons are a god send, as simon said, the alarm install had wires wrapped everywhere so they had to be chopped.

M444GY 26 August 2009 08:22 PM

i thought u were sheading weight lol :D

HT04 26 August 2009 09:12 PM

i had my dash out a few weeks back to get it flocked. to be honest, i was amazed how easy it was.

mike h 26 August 2009 09:34 PM

It is pretty straight forward, just a PITA.
An old guy in the street asked if I was preping it for a rally.:lol1:

Jolly Green Monster 27 August 2009 12:03 AM
