diff between wrx and sti parts ??

i am looking to put a bit more power into my 2004 wrx, among other things i am after an sti TMIC, but what is the difference between the sti TMIC and the wrx TMIC ? is it bigger or positioned slightly differently or what ?

and also which turbo should i upgrade to, aren't the standard sti's a vf34 ? so what is a vf35 then, what is it off ect ? and which is better ?

sorry for the lack of knowledge on this, thats why im asking you guys !

cheers nick

The VF35 is the standard turbo off a 2ltr uk sti, jdm cars had either a vf30 or the more exclusive models had the vf34 ;)
The tmic is better on the sti, pretty much all the parts are uprated compared to a wrx :)

ah right, so id be ok with either a vf34 or a vf35 then, they both should just bolt straight on - ish ?

You'll need a re-map should you replace the turbo. To help that along you'll need a uprated fuel pump.

It ain't that simple!

eye yeah, ive been reading up on all this for ages now before i started buying random bits, on my list is; walbro fuel pump, sti TMIC, sti injectors, turbo, de-cat up pipe, de-cat down pipe, de-cat centre pipe, and then obviously to top it off a re-map, should be a bit more pokey then lol
