And Do You Think The Boost Is Too Much? If however this has been achieved with a some tack-on manual boost controller or piggyback device and the engine is running on a standard Japanese fuel map, then yes, it may well be a lot too much and, with a bit of mass airflow scale error thrown in from the induction kit, could be detting itself to pieces. We have no way of knowing which of the two extremes above (or somewhere in between) applies. |

so basically you have bought a car that u dont have a clue about. i mean if u buy a modified specialist car like this, you should really know what you r buying and what the modifications are on it, rather than "how much power has it got and how fast will it go" no wonder so many of these cars end up with blown engines. didnt u think about asking the seller of the car a few questions about it rather than just handing over a wad of cash cause it sounds good and goes fast! ffs!!!!

If the previous owner/garage didnt tell you how much or what had been done, I would have walked away, your sitting on a potential money pit that could go bang at any time :(
Tony:) |
Is it this one? though I think Pete sold his some time ago :(
