Smoking Turbo whats going on

I have a 1997 2.0 turbo wagon

I just noticed smoke coming from under my bonnet, when I had a look it seems to be coming from the turbo area just underneath the heat shield

Would the turbo smoke what would be the likely cause or could it be the turbo to exhaust gasket?

Any help appreciated

Probably a coolant or oil leak from the turbo area at a guess Steve.

put your hand down the side of the head and feal along the bottom to see if the rocker cover gaskets are leaking :thumb:

Nice one for your advice. I will give it a try in the morning

If it isnt the rocker cover then i'm going to have to whip off the turbo heat shield

Checked where you said and low and behold oil,

looks like another day off work
