is it illegal to not have inticators in my front wings? classic scooby
 

hello quick question just brought a pair of carbon fibre front wings for my classic shape scooby, don't fancy cutting out holes for the indicators, do i have to have indicators in the wings? or is it illegal if i don't? thanks

i think if they is no holes for them you dont have to have them ,,,ring a mot station just to make sure

i used to have a wide arch 306 left the indicators off, was later told by a copper i had to fit some back on so i fitted 3 leds in my wing mirrors and that was fine, could have just been a bored copper but i had to go to his police station to show him after 14 days, that was 4 years ago

Yes, you must have indicators on the side of the car to pass the MOT. Doesn`t have to be on the wings though. Most people mod their wing mirrors or door handles.

you will need wing indicators for the mot .

They don`t have to be on the wings. I`ve smoothed the wings on my Golf and put MK5 mirrors with the built in indicators on and the car passed MOT fine. The garage did check with the MOT station before doing this as well.
