Senior Tory whinges about his pay and expenses!

You couldn't make it up!! Par for the course for a Tory though .... and he is the best Tory there is!!! :freak3:

Alan Duncan:-

"The Tory MP was heard to say MPs were being treated badly after the expenses scandal and "have to live on rations".

LIVE ON RATIONS!!!!!???????????? FFS you Tory Millionaire Eton Boy!!:razz:

The Rutland and Melton MP says: "I spend my money on my garden and claim a tiny fraction based on what is proper. And I could claim the whole bloody lot, but I don't."

Remember when you mark your voting paper .... if this is the best Tory there is! :nono:

SunnySideUp 12 August 2009 11:17 PM

Business Secretary Lord Mandelson, currently standing in for Prime Minister Gordon Brown who is on holiday, told the BBC News Channel: "Alan Duncan is very fond of speaking a good game publicly but in private talking and acting quite differently, so I am not surprised he has been found out."

Well said Mandie!! :thumb:

How long have you been trolling at this level?

Slipping back into it, it seems;)

I appreciate(d) it as all sites have them and they are a function of any busy site. This site's not so busy or vibrant now, though, Pete.

jods 12 August 2009 11:25 PM

Pete - He was being ironic

You DO understand Irony don't you?

Stating my point of view can hardly be called trolling ...... you don't agree, that's fine ...... it could be claimed that your posts are an attempt to bait!?

Do you see how things can get all mixed up?

I love that picture :thumb:

fatherpierre 12 August 2009 11:53 PM

Like I said, I don't care, Pete.

It just looks like you're trolling form my POV. Replying to your own 1st post to add value to it is a text book trolling method;).

I think most MPs are as bad as any DSS leech in the way they bleed all they can get.

My X in the box will certainly be well used;)

SunnySideUp 12 August 2009 11:55 PM

I was replying to my OP as I didn't want to edit and had just found Mandlesons wise words .... nothing more.

fatherpierre 13 August 2009 12:00 AM

Hairy muff.

So, should I vote Labour. Sorry, New Labour, or will it be old danger:(

Tidgy 13 August 2009 12:02 AM

if going on about the faults of the tories is trolling, then whats going on about the faults of labour all the time?

just an observation

Devildog 13 August 2009 03:55 AM

Pete, shut up, you wanker

those POV movies are great aren't they? ;)

mrtheedge2u2 13 August 2009 07:34 AM

Pete.. if you do your research, at least do it properly..... the Tory guy said it tongue in cheek in response to a lot of politicians moaning about the claims scandal

hutton_d 13 August 2009 08:01 AM

... and it's not as if any Labour politicians have been sitting at the trough is it .... ?

I think Lewis' post was legitimate - same as saying your own soccer club will wipe the floor wih the rest!

Really stupid behaviour from Duncan. I think he was a bit pissed at the time.

I don't like the smarmy sod anyway.Partly for reasons one cannot mention these days!

This is of course ironic on so many levels.

Mandie in charge - deeply ironic for a non-elected, self-aggrandising political cyst

Being different in private and talking a good game in public - he is talking about himself, yes?

As to being found out - isn't that an occupational hazard for Mandleson?

Soccer?

Its football yankboy!

Coffin Dodger 13 August 2009 10:39 AM

Hmmm, seems from some of Pete's other posts that he's going on holiday soon. Somewhere round Barnstaple way it would seem, so anyone local keep a look out for him and chuck an egg or something at him from me :D https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...arnstaple.html

Anyway it seems he's moved into the usual pre-holiday controversial / extra trolling mode so that he can get a ban just before he goes which will of course expire just before he returns........

Keep at it Pedro, I'm sure you'll get some good bites soon....

Sorry about that!

But one wouldn't want to confuse the silly game played by overpaid chavs with the proper game of football played at Twickers :D

'pete' is allowed to say anything he wants to.

He has the full support of the 'nu' moderation team and knows the the T&Cs that apply to all other Scoobynet members don't apply to him.

Just the way this BBS is run these days. No wonder nobody bothers with it anymore.

Day in, day out, it continues unhindered. What a rubbish dump NSR had become

finalzero 13 August 2009 01:24 PM

I think the point here is the Testickle MP was being insensitive (and how many times have these hobos said stuff that was wrong), especially in such a effed up time.

Seriously, our leadership is rotten to the core, think about it:

1. Financial scammery at the highest level
2. Financial Infrastructure in ruins
3. Unemployment becoming 'epidemic'
4. Health Scares (Swin Flu etc)
5. Big Bruvva UK

The list goes on but it's never ending. Our leadership has no morals and shows no remorse... do they then expect society to behave morally? don't think so (just take a look at all the crime being committed by teenagers and the seriousness of the crimes).

I personally think we haven't seen the worst of it yet and it's going to get very dire before things get better... We really need a public revolution to say enough is enough (similar stuff is starting to happen across the pond in the US).

I think this dude was half serious and most politicians really can't see what they have done wrong... these phuckers have the nerve to eat into our money but can't fix a crumbling economy or equip their armed forces.

Leslie 13 August 2009 02:56 PM

I find it regrettable that neither the PM nor the leader of the opposition have not got the moral fibre to dump all those MPs who fiddled the expenses as they well knew regardless of their excuses that they were entitled to do so. People like that who are prepared to lie and cheat the electorate of their tax money on a get rich scheme of their own do not deserve to remain in parliament since they cannot be regarded as honourable people.

Duncan should be kicked into touch!

It is even worse that they have now accepted a new system which regardless of how it is described still allows them to continue to claim expenses virtually as they did before.

Les :(

There's a double "l" in "appalling"
