Seems like a good buy from the WRX accessories catalogue at around £210. I assume its a fair bit more on top for fitting. Does it make a noticeable difference in the time it takes to change gear?

WHOWWW no dont pay that :)

get your self onto e-bay where youll pick one up for around 40 quid (possible a little more for some shipping)

There is a company that sels them for around 65 (may be jap inovations)

I bought this one from Procar parts, too 2 weeks to arive, payed 49 pounds all in, its an auction so may pay a little more or a little less, but they seem to be selling them almost every week.

Well worth the money i paid, i may even cut it shorter, if i dont like it ill get another :)

nice cheep mod

I have had the Prodrive quickshift on my classic from new.

Wouldn't say it helps to change gear quicker, but it shortens the throw and gives a more 'sporty' feel.

I have a Momo gearknob as well, this is a little shorter than the standard item a makes it feel even better.

Cheers
Tim

Really depends tbh, ive tried 3 different quickshifts from ggr, sti and brd.

you gets what you pay for imo and hence why the brd one is somewhere around £140 was the best of the lot.

Found the sti was quicker than most, ggr slightly better, and brd better again.
