Also got it on pistonheads and only 2 calls one who wants it for free and one who wants a swop for a BMW 325tds

Unfortunately, these days, selling a car will attract assh*les, as you have discovered...

Well, (and this is ONLY my opinion) on looking at your advert,

these 3 things would make me think twice,
Short tax and MOT
Very little service history
and not owing it very long

12mths MOT is a must or at least 9mths or more, very short MOT's makes people think there could be a problem hence getting rid,
Tax, well yes its an added extra but id rather buy a car with 12mths MOT and 6mths tax than one with 4 weeks tax and 8 weeks MOT.
Service history is good, especially with a car like this, when i sold my scoob, i put all the bills into a folder in date order (sad i know) but over the 4yrs id spent nearly 15k on it  that not counting the S/H from the previous owner.
Not owning it long is another bad sign, as people may think you have found a problem and are just getting rid before it gets worse.

But as said these are my own thoughts not everyones, tbh it looks a tidy motor so at £1200 it should sell.

Don't want a 1.8 Focus with FSH in a swop :D

I think you're jumping the gun a bit expecting it to sell on here in just two days! :lol1:

If I was buying, i'd be initially put off by the short MOT, i'd be assuming problems with the 'not had this long' bit and i'd be looking for one with less miles. Having said that though I woudn't worry about any of them for the price you're selling it at.

It looks nice. Good luck. Stick with it!

but as said, accident damage ones go for near £900/£100 so a fully runnin one with a mechanical mind whilst viewing to buy will solve any doubts, checking of balljoints/mot stuff etc

£1200,come on,thats cheap and it should sell !!!!

yes the short ownership and short tax/mot etc but £1200 with a £1000 in ya hand to buy ther n then,if the engine runs, the rest can be sorted quite easily
