I need my hair cut badly

It's getting long, but my question is why would i pay £5 to have someone make a mess of my hair?

Nat 03 August 2009 02:13 PM

I don't know, why would you pay £5 for someone to make a mess of your hair?

oldsplice 03 August 2009 02:16 PM

Is it getting in your eyes BS? :p

ScoobyDoo555 03 August 2009 02:32 PM

Far too much LOL!!!

BEst investment I made was some clippers - wifey does it. + it's going thin on top anyway! :D

Also means that from the monthly budget, she gets to spend my "share: on her hair - which ALWAYS looks better!!!

David Lock 03 August 2009 02:32 PM

Get your wife/g/f to do it. They can't cut hair for toffee so should be bad enough for you. Won't even cost you a fiver!!

Bubba po 03 August 2009 02:34 PM

Don't have it cut badly, have it cut well. That's my advice. :)

ALi-B 03 August 2009 02:43 PM

I go through this phase once or twice a year.

During winter I was sporting quite a convicing "James May" and by Spring I was wondering what the hell I should do with it.

But as soon as the sun comes out, the clippers are fired up:

That's sixty times more than I have ever paid for a haircut. It's obscene if it's true. The man wants half a dozen outraged scoobynetters setting about him with socks full of snooker balls.

It's like the old saying, there's 2 weeks between a good and bad haircut :lol1:

dpb 03 August 2009 03:27 PM

oldsplice 03 August 2009 03:28 PM

It's growing.....it was really long then i cut it all off when i went traveling...then grew it again and it was getting nice and long this last christmas then the pesky nurses cut big chunks out so they could stich my head  So i had to shave the rest off and now it's about 3-4 months away from Yuko time again :D

That's not far off how it looks when it gets long. 80's women would have been jealous of my curls :D

STi wanna Subaru 03 August 2009 03:38 PM

I have no idea what 'yuko' is..... which I'm kinda glad about to be honest.

It has been years since I had that much hair in fact I think I was probably still a teenager - i accept and embrace baldness {or thinning} with open arms and sharp clippers :thumb:

Jay m A 03 August 2009 04:45 PM

Yuko. I learnt a new word today too!

I average about £10 a month on hair. The wife £100 a month. This justifies yearly trackdays/sprint account :)

RobJenks 03 August 2009 05:34 PM

DONT even consider Tony and Guy anywhere in the world - they are ****e.
Top prices and no talent.
If a cutter wants to sit down - get up and fcuk off
If they want to clip hair up - get up and fcuk off
99 % of hair dressers are useless frauds .
They have not been properly trained .
Find one - If your lucky and tip them well

Leslie 04 August 2009 11:27 AM

Mrs Leslie cuts mine. She is very good at it. I wasn't going to mention about having it cut badly though!

Les :)
