Newbie in edgware
 

Hi guys,
I'm new to the world of scoobynet n I just bought my t2000 6 weeks ago. I found out it's leaking fuel from somewhere n need to get it checked, anyone know any mechanic I can check it from n who won't rip me off! I'm in edgware near queensbury kingsbury Harrow n wembley!

As for your fuel leak - I'd get checked out sooner rather than later. No to hot on garages in the area though, I'd recommend taking it up to a subaru specialist to give it a once over (API gets my vote :D)

LOL, I will do mate. It's just such a hassle getting the bloody thing fixed! I know it's leaking somewhere, I can smell fuel and sometimes I see drips, just don't know where from, I suspect the tank though:mad::wonder::brickwall! Hello mate, my dad is a mechanic and has worked on many scoobies (thanks to me :D) and he's based in Edgware just off Hale Lane.

He's on holiday til next week, but I'll bet my left leg that he'll be able to cure your fuel leak problem! :thumb:

On another note, there's a meet this sat nite with the HERTS SCOOBY CREW and the ESSES SCOOBY CREW... meeting at south mimms BP petrol st at 6pm then driving down to southend, you should try and come?! :)

Welcome ST2000, Rickya lives/works around your way and I'm sure he'll have a contact near to you to get that leak sorted (I'm sure he'll reply soon...:Suspiciou). Keep an eye out for meets- MSOC, herts scooby crew, essex scooby crew (ESC, they have their own section too) are all great guys to meet up with. :king:

Thank you very much for all your help and advice! I'll keep an eye out for meets, Saturday nights is a bad one for me though, I've got family in East London that I have to see!!!!

Didnt get a chance to reply to your text earlier, but if there's any way you could drop your car to my dad Tue eve and leave it with him Wed then he could take a look at it and see what he can do... then you could pick it up Wed eve?
