Owner of a business - trying to get a name

I'm trying to get a name of an owner of a business.

I have an address and name of tow different companies at this address, but i need to find out the name of the owner....is there any way of doing this other than phoning up and asking?

Use companies house, search for business name and then buy incorporation or directors documents. About £2 each.
