i got mine off ebay, brand new £75 delivered, just got to find someone to fit it now,

andythejock01wrx 25 July 2009 12:06 PM

Might pay the extra tenner if one of the main Scooby tuners sells them.

JDM_Stig 25 July 2009 12:35 PM

Try Temple tuning, took 24 hrs for mine to arrive and they are good on prices,
Apexi, Blitz, HKS, Walbro, Whiteline - Japanese Performance Parts at Temple Tuning

I can do you one for £75 delivered but I think I saw Lateral Performance advertising them for a little less.

andythejock01wrx 25 July 2009 05:33 PM

Don't have the car yet (:o), but keep it in mind!

harvey 26 July 2009 11:41 AM

I guess this is what you call pre-planning.

andythejock01wrx 26 July 2009 12:48 PM

Fair comment! :)

ebay mate i got mine for £60 delivered took me an hour to fit it and its really loud

andythejock01wrx 26 July 2009 07:09 PM

Loud??

GlesgaKiss 26 July 2009 07:19 PM

Think he means when you turn the ignition and the pump primes. The priming noise is more noticable with the walbro, that's it! It's not as if you're driving along the road with a pump whining away. Lol

Walbro 255 wont be any different from a scooby tuner than one from Ebay, only Ebay will probably be cheaper, mine was £64.99.:thumb:

Ebay is your best bet.

I'd avoid ebay like the plaque, lots and lots of fake walbro pumps floating about.

Wow scoobynet must have a massive hard drive to store so many posts lol
Actually glad this one came up...does a 255 pump have the spec stamped on it? How do you tell if a standard car has an upgrade pump??
Cheers Rich

AS Performance 08 August 2014 03:28 PM

always have genuine Walbro 255 & 450 kits on the shelf as well as Bosch 044, Deatshwerks, RCM, etc.............

ossett - the 255 pump will be marked as GS341 or GS342 dependant on exact fitment
