I fess up - after trawling the memory banks I realised I have had a total of five user names on Snet - a couple were trying new names and on Snet we were not allowed to change our display name!

Simple even for most users on some occasions; Old IDs that have not been used for two years being "magically" being resurrected on a thread about aliases doesn't need IP addresses to work out its a regular user. ;)

you could search for my ID by IP address and quite possibly find half of scoobynet have the same ip :) |

Sonic - to be fair I registered Spooky and Rannoch to the same email address and was flagged. It was me that then brought Trout into it, and Brown Trout and SpecCled Trout, although the latter were more obvious as potentially linked to me!
