Mmm,

I never caught on to the idea of having different coloured bonnets & boots.
It always reminds me of a taxi.

But hey what the hell do I know.

ShaggyDooWRX 22 July 2009 05:45 PM

Is it carbon?

subaru-impreza-2000 23 July 2009 09:12 PM

Hmm, i think it looks nice. Is it carbon, or painted?

typer2009 24 July 2009 05:19 PM

No its painted for sale now!

Jonnip74 24 July 2009 08:16 PM

How much matey?

CupraDave 24 July 2009 09:26 PM

If it is painted then why not paint it the right colour? :wonder:

I have had a carbon bonnet for nearly a year now and I am still undecided whether it should be painted or not, or even just have sections painted. Nearly all the people who have commented on it however say I should leave as is.

On this red one it looks good, but on the blue one, not so much

beef-on-the-bone 24 July 2009 11:10 PM

imo carbon will always look better against a colour where there is a greater contrast

Flaps 25 July 2009 12:59 PM

Black bonnets look great if they are carbon, that red one's really nice! I don't see the point in just painting a standard bonnet black though.
