Have a look at Maplins online.

kingmikeyuk 19 July 2009 10:35 PM

just had a look , no good , anyone else ?????

If it IS an LED, then Rapid Electronics or RS Components.

Regarding LED or no, can you post a decent pic? What are the connections like on it's base? Can you see any evidence that there was ever a filament in it?

looks like the wired ones I listed in the other thread : https://www.scoobynet.com/interior-1...ior-bulbs.html

Not LED

tanyatriangles 23 July 2009 04:52 PM

Agreed, I don't think it's an LED either, looks more like a wire ended bulb to me.

Maplins is your place for those: Coloured Subminiature Bulbs : Small Bulbs & Lamps : Maplin

or: Wire-Ended Filament Type : Small Bulbs & Lamps : Maplin

ok on the thread that 'joey turbo' mentions 'blueg14rep' calls them 'T5 neo wedge bulbs'
if you put this into google you get plenty of hits all the suppliers seem to be abroad but at least i can get them , thanks for everyones help and replies.

Cheers

That seems to be the description they use for them abroad, thats why you can only fins them there. Save yourself some time and money, and go into maplins and get the ones we've posted up. The picture you posted is much better than the other one, so I wasn't sure. But I can see they are 100% the wired bulbs. Just unravel one from the holder and you'll see.

As above, they are like the switch lights, unravel them and you'll see:)

i got a couple of second hand ones which dont work so i bought some clear ones from maplins, they are a bit longer than the ones you take out but fit with no problems and you can take your blue condom off your old ones when you take the old bulb out.

joey_turbo 26 July 2009 10:33 AM

You could have just bought the blue bulb, save messing about with those condoms.

neill70 26 July 2009 10:59 AM

i went into my local shop and they only had clear ones.

Don't mean to boast, but when I done the bulbs in the switches, they are the same, BOTH my condoms split :lol1:
