Eibach lowering springs
I've decided my next mod is lowering. I've been recommended Eibach which lowers front by 35mmand rear by 25mm. Anyone any bad experiences of Eibach? Already have Whiteline 24mm ARB and solid droplinks. Thanks

have them on my MY00, much more compliant than the originals, the 17" wheels sit nicely in the arches, been on the car for 8 years and 40k miles and still working well.
|
Got them on my MY00 wagon, done approx 30k no problems much better than standard. Not sure they lowered the car that much though.

dug out some old photos, no problems with mine ;)

would have liked to go lower but im catching the road coming out my drive now. i think teins go lower than this, other than that it will be coilovers :thumb:

RED2 Cracking car that! I love that blob in red. Makes my blue look well poxy. lol.
I have Eibachs on mine, lowered mine by an inch i would say. Now it may be lower, as i am paranoid my shocks have gone! Haha. they have done 86k now. I keep eying up the group buy on BC coilovers. |

Just had my Eibechs fitted today, MY05 WRX and i'm impressed so far, nice ride height and comfort but not tested them for improved handling just yet!

Had tiens fitted to my bugeye today, along with whiteline rear arb and droplinks, sits really nice and the drive is so much better, especially round the twisties. :D
|
Get yourself a rear arb first mate.
I had the springs done first with geometry, which made the ride harder, car rolled slightly less and looked more aggressive. Made a difference, but nowhere near as much difference as the rear whiteline arb IMHO - and the latter is a lot cheaper for a start mod IMHO |
Yeah mate did 140 miles of country roads on thm and there sweet, WL Rear ARB is defo next on my list though!

RED2 are they 17's or 18's ? getting some eibach's for mine soon, cant quit afford coilovers yet, but i just wondered what it would sit like, very nice btw !

Thanks |
Anyone had problems carrying out height adjustments, screwing the collars up/down?
Both my rear ones are super tight, even with a spring compressor to lift the spring of it... Meticulously cleaned the threads and used screw thread unlocker/lube |
