CAB DRIVERS TREAT KIDS

Just throwing this idea out to all fellow scoobyists.Having seen all the cab drivers today, taking kids to Southend,i was wondering if the ESC have done anything like this in the past (i am fairly new to Scoobynet) or would be interested in doing something similar in the future for handicapped/under privileged kids. I have no idea how to organise something like this, but i'm sure somebody on here could if there was enough interest.:thumb:

Sounds like a great idea mate, suppose you could go to local places where the kids are based or housed and ask them if they want to be taken somewhere for a day out! but firstly would have to see how many people would be up for it, would be interested in helping

Sounds like a great idea. However would you need some kind of insurance to do something like this?

Yeah, you may well be right about the insurance,i really have no idea, its just when i saw all the cabs today i thought it would've looked a lot better if they were all scoobs:D

yea it would have looked awsome! yes acctually i think you are right about the insurance, although its for a good casue you would need to find out from the DVLA i guess

The WYIOC have visited a local kids hospice and let the kids sit in the cars...

Without a full CRB and insurance, you'd be seen as a criminal in these PC crazy days.

dunx

P.S. Some also attended a young lads funeral for some (requested) anti-lag action.

I'm with Dunx on this as he knows a lot about this field/kids etc. :)
