Geohot has been at it again.

I mentioned his purplera1n jailbreak for the iPhone 3GS, he has now also released an unlock for the iPhone 3GS, known as purplesn0w. Read that link for more info on the unlock.

I've used purplera1n to jailbreak my 3GS and it worked without issue. I've also restored it back to factory settings, then applied my backup to it, and I'm just running purplera1n again. The reason for the switch back was I checked out battery drain, thought the jailbreak might have caused a problem. I think it's just me though as without the jailbreak I'm seeing the same battery life.
