bugging me this one, i don't intend to do so, but always wondered

does this invalidate you insurance like having a roll cage (i.e. it's safer, stops you dieing, that sort of thing, but they think you'll be driving like an idiot :D)

do you need a westfield to qualify?

Wearing a helmet prevents you from knocking them up ;););)

A couple of mates of a mate tried this in a turbo wagon, apparently a few people called the police thinking they had just done a bank!

especially if you've got a black visor aswell ;)

depends on the insurer, its unlikely that an insurer will say wearing of a helmet invalidates policy, but they might in order to cover their asses for track days etc etc.

By all means wear a helmet.

Do make sure that you can hear properly with your helmet on though, other wise the last words you will never hear will be 'ARMED POLICE!!!' :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I took a bike in for a service once and as it was going to be a few hours they gave me a loan car. I was having some trouble driving in full race leathers and body armour, but when the car broke down I felt like a real plonk getting on the bus with all the gear and carrying a helmet

sounds like my MOT every year, i have to walk round derby town centre for an hour, feeling like a right t**t :D

I maybe wrong, but I was always under the impression that it's illegal to wear a helmet in a car on the public highway?

Since the early/mid 70's in fact....
