As for as I know Rum* works at Schofields, unfortunately they are not as competitive on modified cars. I've just done the rounds and here are the top 5, maybe more:

1. Chris Knott (0800-917-2274)
2. Greenlight (0870-753-5455) Would not entertain my business use
3. Allen&Allen (0800-068-2937) via Bell Direct
4. Adrian Flux (0870-0777-888)
5. Quote Online(0870-444-2515) No mods here either
6. Schofields (0113-250-0377)

Not in any order of preference or cost, but they all beat my DirectLine renewal of £1300. However CK managed to drop by 40%
