GMballistic 02 July 2009 09:34 PM

Liked the video pal, possibly find a bigger car park next time but atleast you had abit of fun before it got written off. Hope your wife & kids were all ok.

Luckyscoob 02 July 2009 09:36 PM

Thanks mate, the exhaust was just a cat back group N from tsl. :thumb:

Good god!. How weird is that, it shows you never know what your own car sounds like. That exactly what I had on mine until recently when I went for an afterburner. Why is it everyone else's sound 'better' in your imagination :cuckoo:

shane159 02 July 2009 09:51 PM

I agree with you 100% mate, it's very strange and you always want whatever someone else has until you own it for yourself.

Beardy 02 July 2009 09:55 PM

Hope you were fully comp!

You gonna buy her back from insurance company? Or just let her go?

Luckyscoob 02 July 2009 10:00 PM

What happened then mate?, are you getting another. If you are, stick to white, they look awesome. I didnt even give white a though when i got mine , and then I saw one

shane159 02 July 2009 10:10 PM

I lost traction on the a38 at about 50 to 55mph as said with the wife and kids in, the wather was shocking and I aqua plained like mad, doing 2 360 spins hitting the central res on both spins.
Insurance classed the car as a cat c write off, and offered it me back for £3000 I bought it and sold it straight away for £5450.
I was fully comp and got paid out so I bought a bmw e46 m3 and I love it to bits.

Luckyscoob 02 July 2009 10:15 PM

Must have been a scary one, but at least you're all ok. Obviously has put you off having a performance car again lol :lol1::lol1:

RED2 02 July 2009 11:46 PM

GMballistic 03 July 2009 06:42 PM

I just had a look at your other video's to. I can't believe your "beamed scaffolding being lifted" video (YouTube - beamed scaffolding being lifted) has had 587 views! well 588 including me. The whole time watching it I was waiting for it to spear through the lorry cab or something worse :). Lol
Never mind, maybe put some videos of yourself trying to drift the BM when you get used to it. Lovely car the M3 but could never replace my Scoob in my mind (even though mines an old classic!). Although the M3's do have a gorgeous engine note.

Connor_scotland 04 July 2009 05:18 PM
