Looks like they dont do corner weighting??

mrmarc 29 June 2009 02:59 PM

hi mate,
id recommend you give them a call to discuss your needs i just spoke to them about getting my car set up and they seemed to think that corner weighting wasnt needed on these cars as they are very well balanced out the factory.

scoobyc 29 June 2009 03:52 PM

Thats the thing. Mine aint out the factory any more :)

I might do it myself somehow. Not sure i can be bothered tho.

I have got a quote of 375 for awd alignment, corner weighting and a free run on the dyno.

How does that sound? place called AFR iirc.

Corner weighting is not something that your average supplier will do so try somewhere like Powerstation or Micheldever tyres - neither are in Berkshire but are not a million miles away!
You could also give Subaru4you in Newbury a shout and see if they can help or point you in the right direction.

API did the corner weights on my car, they were way out and it made a big difference to the feel of the car.

Micheldever Tyres near Andover might be worth a try..

90% of the country only get 2 days off. So why does everywhere shut on one of those days. Shut on a wednesday or tuesday instead. :S

We can corner weigh that and laser track it. Depending upon how old and rusty the threads are for the spring adjustment makes an exact price a bit tricky. Bank on £135.00 + VAT for weighing and £75.00 + VAT for laser track and camber set up. Not more.

Resurrecting this old thread up, is there anyone more local to Hampshire/Berkshire that can corner weigh a car?

Horsham developments can do but are fully booked until the 30th April!

MrNoisy 06 May 2015 09:00 AM

BTTT, apologies for the thread resurrection.
Are Horsham good? They look to be a Nissan specialist.
Also heard Wheels in Motion are good too, but a little further for me...

fpan 06 May 2015 09:23 AM

I've only done a corner weighing at Horsham (no setup just measuring) but they seem to know their stuff.
