Can i run without a BOV or standard recirc?
 

On my 98 WRX.

I want to run without one, im on the TD04 at standard boost to 1 bar.

Yep you can blank off the Dump valve & return and run without one, I done this for 2 years on My RA and know a few others who run like it, you get great chatter through an Induction kit and after hearing this.. i decided to do the same...

I eventually missed the woosh and went back to one.

Iwas under the impression that a std TD04 wasn't really strong enough to do this for any period of time?

Yeah the td04 is good for it 2 of my lot have been bov less for 3+ years sound evil at 1.2 bar.
