Not a fan of the turtle wax range myself
for red you should try the Werkstat Carnauba Kit :thumb: Wheels look spot on - make sure you protect them with wheel sealent makes cleaning far easyer :thumb: |
tingtong, who did them, they look very nice :) What state were your wheels in before?
|
company called scuff and buff did them two brothers.
my wheels were not in the best condition one of them was really bad. i've had a brake problem and it ended up eating the paint on the drivers side. they can do split rims etc and are north west based (wigan ish i think) contact details for them 07783 4160008 or 07786 545212 they spent about 5 hours at mine. anyone wanting to have a proper look at the job, my car will be on the zero260 stand at the nbo. or your welcome to pop round and have a look i live north manchester, middleton just off jun 19 m60/m62 |

Remember the finish is all down to the preporation i.e the actual polishing stage not just the wax
but I guess it depends on how much time is on you hands and how far your budget will go :) Polished bliss in the car care section gives sound advise on whatever finish your after Car Care Products - Protect - Carnauba Waxes, Synthetic Sealants, Trim Dressings and Microfibre Towels my wife has a odd colour fiiesta that is a nightmare to get a decent shine out of it but my method was wash (2 buckets) clay wash again polish using porta cable using menzerna intensive polish polish with menzerna final polish 2 then polish with jeffs prime strong then finally use jeffs acrylic to protect for my car its basicly the same but for blue its wash (2 buckets) clay wash again polish using porta cable using menzerna intensive polish polish with menzerna final polish 2 then polish using blackfire gloss enhancing polish then protect with blackfire wet diamond then protect again with a coat of blackfire paste wax One thing though is get a couple of coats of poorboys wheel sealent on your wheels it stops brake dust sticking and you can wash your wheels with just your normal shampoo its a god send that stuff :) |
