I did a check on that reg number on the vechile insurance database and it does not even show up..very wierd..

use this liknk to check any number plate to see if car is currently insured or not...

I confirm that the vehicle detailed above is registered, owned or insured by either my employer or myself and is regularly driven by me. I understand it is an offence to wrongfully obtain information of this nature without reasonable cause and if I fail to provide true reasons for acquiring information I may be committing an offence of unlawfully obtaining data contrary to section 55 of the Data Protection Act 1988.

it could be genuine ish, but note he doesn't mention anything about the condition good or bad, or history.

You'd imagine at that price thats because its knackered, or had an accident and been rebuilt, or knackered and has had an accident. Whats the chance of it being a minter and he just wants rid of it quickly because :lol1:

Just means its not insured at the mo. Dvla database shows it as SORN;)
