22B Replica Adjustable spoiler ?

Hi,

Just testing the water to see what interest there would be in a full size 22B rear spoiler with fully adjustable rear blade.

We have aquired a genuine 22B spoiler and need a bit of feedback on producing these spoilers ,as the mould is very complicated ,so need to suss out if it will be worth it:wonder:

All the adjustable brackets will be made from laser cut stainless steel:norty: and bottom spoiler will incorporate rear brake lamp.

Will fit ALL saloon classics from 1992 - 2001

Will post pics soon!

Thanks for your time,

Mark @ HT Autos.:thumb:

DJ_Jon 12 June 2009 11:44 AM

Could be interested. Do you also do an RB5 style spoiler?

mantazini 13 June 2009 08:29 AM

Interested very much.......................:norty:

Spruxxx 13 June 2009 04:10 PM

Any pics? I'm looking for a 22b style for a newage (even better if it uses std wrx spoiler holes)...

Moley 16 June 2009 09:02 PM

Any more?

I really want one of these!!!

beef-on-the-bone 16 June 2009 09:23 PM

carbon blade!!!!!

yes please :)

HT_Autos 16 June 2009 10:53 PM

Thanks for the replies, we will post pics soon of the prototype we have made from a splash off the original:thumb:

Mark:)

mattpat 16 June 2009 11:05 PM

I dont need one but it sounds like a good move:thumb:
theres not that many options really except v5,v6 or low level ..or none of course
a little off topic but its a shame no one does a prodrive copy like on the RB5, I have a carbon seibon one but would have really liked an oe replica?
Is there a copyright issue producing one as originals seem to be really sought after and make good money second hand?

cheers
matt

Looks good - how much interest do you need from newage owners to consider adapting one? :norty:

If they are a reasonable price I think I'll be having one off you :)

oli1983uk 19 June 2009 03:47 AM

would be interested in one depending on the price.

I'm always astonished by how quickly you guys turn an idea into reality! :thumb: Congratulations: it looks great to me.

Just an aside: another 22B owner on here was recently asking about a source for the hex centred bolts for the wing adjustment as his have become a bit corroded, so when you've got these bits sorted too, I reckon he would like to buy some off you.

SC008Y_MAD 19 June 2009 07:41 PM

Looks spot on. What about making a version with a CF top blade/wing later ?

Richy B 19 June 2009 08:42 PM

Looks f***ing great Mark... :notworthy I'm looking forward to having the 'genuine' one returned, but as I said to you no rush mate! :thumb:

Oskar 20 June 2009 12:43 PM

Thats not a 22B spoiler or even a proper replica, IMHO one of the worst spoilers available for the classic. I think the company that sells them call them a "down sized 22B replica" spoiler. The real one is totally different: http://image03.webshots.com/3/6/76/3...4WULcPQ_fs.jpg

2.5STI 20 June 2009 11:13 PM

looks pretty similer to me.

ive never measured a 22b spolier to be honest but i really like my spoiler so i aint fused.

:luxhello:

damandblast 21 June 2009 01:41 AM

2.5STI 21 June 2009 10:34 AM
