I had a Excedy organic clutch fitted in March by them. I was very impressed with their workmanship. They are highly regarded in the Northwest. Recommended.

Got a WR 1 interior, that seemed to be a reasonable price, but once home I found it was going mouldy and smelt bad.... :(

I haven't heard any complaints about the spanner work tho'.

Not very helpful, huh ? ;)

I've had water pump, cambelt, tensioners and idler bearings fitted as first job to my new scoob at Scoobyteknix and they were very good. Fast, tidy job, good price and I even got a car to use for the day from them! Also had a backbox fitted there - again quick and cheap and a good job. Going back there on Monday for my rocker cover gaskets doing. :thumb:

I've been down a few times, and without wanting to rock the boat, I had mixed experiences.

First time I needed some front pads. Andy came out and spent around ten fifteen mins looking at the calipers to check he was ordering the correct pads. I needed them doing badly and wanted them that day. Andy said yep, no problem, i'll order them and ring you when they are done. I thought great, went away, got a call around hour later saying they are here, come get them. I collected, then drove down to Lytham to fit them. Got to Lytham and they were the wrong pads. Fair enough easy mistake, but he did have a very good look at them, and it struck me as strange he made that mistake.

Second time, I needed an Cat putting in to pass an MOT. I spoke to Andy again, and he said that was doable, and would charge me 60 notes to add the cat, let me pass mot, brring it back and they would remove it. I dropped my car with them at 8:30 am, and said i needed it back for MOT at 1:30pm. Andy said he would take my car to the garage and i could collect it from there after the MOT.

My car didnt get to the testing station till half 3 so it missed its test that day, which caused me a bit of ball ache.

When i took the car back to take the cat off on my day off, i booked it in for one in the afternoon. I was waiting that day as my g/f was working. I finally left at gone three, after being told it was a half hour job. No tea/coffee, just read some mags.

Then whenI got home it was running bad, checked under the bonnet, and theyd left a VAC pipe off.

Great price, but I havent had the BEST service. But its local, and i will use them again, but, I dunno, just not had the smoothest service, and Ive had to run around last min, wait around etc.
