Speculators Bumping up Focus RS Prices
 

Looks like people are trying to get a bit more than list for these Buy a used FORD FOCUS Car - Auto Trader UK

Interestingly, my insurance on an RS would cost £25 more than an ST!

People did this on the Mk1 too.

A bit sh1t though when it's the Ford dealers themselves that are doing it.

I had this when I originally wanted the Mk1 RS. Couple dealers I went to said all cars were sold, but for £25k (£5k over list) they'd get me one.

Just waited 12 months for all the excitement to die down, then picked up a brand new unregistered RS that the dealer was struggling to sell.
