Just a warning for you guys to keep a watch out. Some lowlife ripped the spoiler off my MY99. Apparently (Scooby dealer) there's an article in 'Max Power' or similar with "Make your Astra look great - fit a Scooby spoiler"...

A new one costs £1200, which really made my weekend.

Anyone know:
- the article the dealer is talking about so I can write a letter of complaint
- what the story is getting a second hand spoiler - costs to respray? / fitting costs etc. etc.

Cheers.

Did they just rip it off of the boot ?

Not good...

I am so so tempted to super glue razor blades under my bonnet scoop.... (no point doing spoiler as is a Wagon)....
but I am sure I would get put away... despite them putting there fingers in my engine bay... etc...

It just an air splitter officer! :)

Damn cheap too :)

I just bought an STi4 Spoiler for £100 (from here) plus £85 spraying including paint.

Sorry to hear about the theft, scumbags

Edited to say fitting is a piece of cake, 10 mins tops :)
Although may be more if they damaged the original boot holes :(
