Newbie question
 

Hi All,

New to scubbies and a couple of questions you guys could help me with.

When I drive the car, going from first to second gear, the clutch snatches. Its like there is nothing on the clutch pedal then all there. A bit like just letting the pedal out fast, no gradual bite etc. Now is this normal and I just have to get used to the car a problem?

No its not normal, the last owner could have replaced the clutch with a sports/performance one (their last address should be on the V5, drop them a line and ask what mods were done to the car or if they have any paperwork for your new car :))
The clutch should be like any normal car, just a little bigger ;)

I just drove the car and clutch is like any other car, It just feels a bit more sensative when you let the clutch out. It might be me as my last car was BMW 330CI and they are big and lazy. Are the standard clutches heavier than a standard car, BMW etc?
