I've seen this happen before. You might have hit a cow without realising, and it has become lodged in your front grill/engine bay. It's obviously still alive hence the moooooing noise coming from under the bonnet. Mangled cows often resemble dump valves too, so don't think you're going mad! It happens to the best of us.

And to answer your question: baileys cows are far superior to standard ones.

It's a very real possibility. A while back I remember seeing a bird darting up and down along in front of me, trying to escape. It disappeared, and taking pity I stopped to see if it was Ok. Well it was nowhere to be seen. A couple of weeks later I had to change a sidelight bulb and upon removal of the headlamp I discovered a birds carcas in there!

So I guess equally possible with a cow, although cows don't tend to be on the roads so you could argue the chances are quite small.

so joking apart is it better to get a new one or go for a baileys one??
