help needed

i have a newage wrx has full decat turbo back, up pipe, sti tmic, un-equal headers, short ram intake, walbro fp, hks ssqv bov, ecutek remap.

will i get anything out of installing a manual boost controller?

what iv read is that you take off the 2 hoses from the factory boost controller that goes to the turbo compressor housing nipple and the other hose that goes to actuater and block them off then get 2 new vacuum hoses and run them from where you took 2 old hoses off ( turbo compressor housing nipple and actuater ) and connect them 2 the manual boost controller.

just wondering if il be able to turn boost up more slightly or will i not get anymore out of it?

I would have thought the ecutek remap would have squeezed the last drops out of the baby turbo you have if its on the standard turbo, so not much to gain. The OE boost control is probably much nicer to drive with too. Depends what boost its running currently. (you should have a boost guage anyway if you're going to fiddle with the boost settings). You might get up to 1.3 bar in the mid range but if its the TD04 you're not going to get much at the redline whatever your method of boost control.

it has a boost gauge and boost's at 1.3 bar on standard turbo, also been on rollers and done 270bhp 340 ft/lb torque that was before the headers where put on and hasnt been mapped with headers

i would uprated my injectors and bigger turbo and do a boost controller.
