is it easy to see lambda sensor

wheres the lambda sensor on my 2001 classic with 2003 new age engine conversion?:luxhello:

Classic's have them on the downpipe right at the top. I'm sure the Newage have them on the down pipe also, but lower down. IF you follow the downpipe, you will see it.

ok i have looked from the engine bay behind the turbo cant see anything maybe be better under car and looking up? how far down from turbo?

joey_turbo 18 May 2009 04:21 PM

It could be anywhere on the downpipe, I don't know about the newage. Getting underneath the car should get you the view.

ok i cant see any cable or sensor on the downpipe? does this mean i have not got one then?

on a newage wrx it is in the drivers side exhaust manifold before the up pipe, access is under the wheel arch with the wheel off.

mmm so do i have to remove wheel and inner splash guard to check i only want to check to see what headers to get from harvey lol with or without hole

Get with a hole, and get a plug.

Think they're 12mm fine thread.
