**** HERTS/MSOC 24th MAY MEET ****
 

Dear All,

This month the Herts Scooby Crew and the MSOC will have their meet on the same day - Sunday 24th May.

The MSOC will meet at their usual place at 2pm (MSOC meet) and for those that would like to attend the HERTS meet also it will be at the following location from 4pm.


Venue: Red Lion pub, near Welwyn Garden City, AL6 9AJ

The S2000 gives you a hint that this is also the location for the Herts s2000 meet.

I will be at the MSOC meet and for those wanting to go to the Herts meet aswel, just follow me in convoy :thumb:


Please note, future Herts meets will not fall on the same day, this is a bank holiday special for those that fancy a Scooby overdoes :D

Alex.... sounds like a quality idea although the two hour gap may just be too tight... especially with our regular MSOC timekeeping. It may just come down to what happens on the day so keep us updated on what you plan.... :thumb:

I may be up for this if thats ok only 20 mins from my door.

That is the Red lion on Digswell hill yes?
I'm from London but know the area very well but also know theres about 3 or 4 red lion pubs in a very small radius Welwyn,Hatfield and Knebworth!!:Suspiciou

I'll come say hi dont worry, will be nice to meet a newbie... saying that i'm bringing my own newbie who is lookin 4ward to getting involved in the scooby scene! :)

I was thinking that too, but I also thought that ppl might not want to do the Herts meet much later than 4pm as it could 'eat' in to their Sunday tea time...

Its going to be two short meets for the ppl that want to attend both meets, but it's a one off this time round and from June the Herts meet will be on a different Sunday to the MSOC :)

Its the Red Lion Pub thats on that road which runs right along the A1M... there's a twin round about that goes just under the motorway to join that road with the one that comes up from Snarsbrook...

As from June, the Herts meets will either be the 1st Sunday or last Sunday of the month... I'll pencil you in ;)

Still a week yet to go so the list may increase :) I plan on being at the MSOC meet and hopefully some from this list will also be up for it, then we can have a jolly old convoy to the Herts meet... I do love convoys :D

Well my name is down but will prob be a bit later than you guy's seeing that it's on the same day as the MSOC meet and as i'm stuck in the middle have said yes to both!:cuckoo:! so I'm gunna do the MSOC then fly over to you guy's to see if I can catch the tail end of the HSOC bit mad but hey if the weathers good should end up being a nice day plus get to see and hear loadsa Scoobs can't be bad plus food my kinda day OUT!!!:banana::banana:

I know what you mean Russ, I live in Herts, but if I walk 1/4 mile up the road I'm in Middx, and that's also where I work. Depending on what the misses has planned I might stretch my legs and head off up to the Herts one afterwards:D

You'll be coming from the A10/M25?

If you go west on the M25 and get off at South Mimms services (where M25 meets A1) I can meet you there? Say around 1pm? It shouldnt take more than half an hour or so to get to the MSOC meet, but give it an hour what do you reckon?
