30k

For my 4oth I was keen to treat myself to a 330s but suddenly thought this is a lot of doe for a new car I could probably get something I would normally dream of used. Appreciate any suggestions before my 40th.

Dream Weaver 09 May 2009 12:23 AM

One of the latest M5?

Been looking at these today, 05/55 plates are circa £30k now and could cost up to £75k when new!!

thesyn 09 May 2009 08:36 AM

Sorry, Porsche 911, previous model: 996, TT is twin turbo. These are now edging below 30K. However running costs etc.
Even so I would:thumb:

M5's are a bargain at the mo. Super car performance, 5 seats, discrete and luxurious. I got one recently...

always thought these were the most beautiful looking cars, sheer class

sub 30k wow!!!

If you are looking at a 330i, I would assume you would consider other suggestions based on similar running costs to the 330i. I imagine your blown porka's, m-powered cars and rarri's would pretty much cost more than twice what a 330i would be to keep.

So with that in mind, here are a couple of suggestions:

Auto Trader UK - BMW 630i Sport

Auto Trader UK - BMW 335i M Sport Convertible

Auto Trader UK - JAGUAR XF 3000 cc 3.0 V6 Premium Luxury 4dr Auto

Auto Trader UK - MERCEDES-BENZ C350 3498 cc Elegance -Navigation-

Autotrader - Volkswagen New Passat 3600 cc R36 3.6 V6 4MOTION DSG

I'd seriously consider one of these. I didnt realise they had dropped below the 30k barrier. A hell of a lot of car for the money.

Hoppy 11 May 2009 05:57 PM

Dreaming is one thing, but when it comes down to doing the deal, for a car you're going to own and run, drive every day and enjoy, 996TT is it for £30k.

RON 11 May 2009 06:07 PM

Anyone thinking of buying a 456 gt needs to talk to thier local Ferrari specialist BEFORE you buy a car.............. they are far from cheap to run.....!!!!!

ScooByer Trade 11 May 2009 06:37 PM
