Local For Sale Bits

My turn to have a bit of a sort out here,

Firstly I have a genuine Classic Sti Strut Brace, this did have pink anchors but I have had them powder coated black, the bar is sprayed silver but it is alloy and will polish up if you want to spend some time on it, it is in good condition for it's age, when fitted this is rock solid.... £50

Then it's time to have an I.C.E. clearout,

In-Phase IPA900, great condition and low usage £85

It is fixed onto a small stand so it can stand alone in the boot if you wish.

In Phase amplifiers have been designed to appeal to both the power enthusiast customer and also the discreet upgrade customer. Starting on the outside, all amplifiers in the range feature a stunning black crackle effect metal casing along with matching screw on end caps for a fantastic install.
The amplifiers feature an ultra bright LED to denote power and protection modes. In normal use a cool blue glow will be emitted from the LED.
All amplifiers have built in thermal and short circuit protection. All feature fully adjustable high and low pass filters and all except the IPA400 have variable bass boost controls. The IPA600 and IPA900 feature buffered RCA output for easy daisy chaining. The IPA1204 which gives phenomenal power into 4 channels (4x100w RMS) even has a built in silent running cooling fan. All amplifiers even feature high level input sockets to allow you to run the amplifiers from your existing factory fitted radio.
Each In Phase amplifier is hand built, and goes through 35 different checks for reliability and quality control to ensure you are buying the best for you money. We strongly believe is not a better product out there for the same price.
  • 1200W 2 channel amplifier
  • MOSFET power supply
  • Bass boost
  • High level input (speaker level input)
  • Variable gain adjusment
  • Build in crossover
  • Build in high pass / low pass filter
  • Thermal protection
  • Overload protection
  • High brightness blue LED
  • RCA outputs for amplifier linking

Has it got two sets of outputs with one bridgeable with low pass filter so that you can run a pair of back speakers and a sub at the same time?

Silver Scooby Sport 30 April 2009 01:08 PM

I'm not 100% sure on that but I don't think this would safely run both as you may need either a 3 or 4 channel amp... may be a good question for the I.C.E. section. Just to add you could run a nice set of 6x9's with good bass in them and a sub my not be needed at all.

The amp will be just ticking over running 6x9's, In-phaze is quality gear aad made to perform at the high end of the market.

Hmm tempting...cos I don't want to change the double din ideally, but just found out there are no pre-outs on the standard head unit...did you say it also works on high input from head unit speaker output (obviously with better cables)?

I'm afraid I think you will find most amp's require head units with pre outs which the standard unit does not have.
I'm sure you know the standard double din head unit is... er.... rubbish hence the reason most people change them, its well worth the additional cost IMO but each to there own just depends what sort of quality you are looking for.

The description says

High level input (speaker level input)

Just wanted to confirm that was what it meant? To be honest now looking for huge bass and volumes, just be nice to hear the radio over the exhaust without it distorting, if you know what I mean

Silver Scooby Sport 30 April 2009 07:34 PM

ICE is a relatively new subject for me as well, home I am ok with but car is a newish area.... I'm selling due to re-thinking my set up and I'm still learning the techinicality's of it but as Kev has said this is a very good amp. It would pay to check it out on google and see what the critics say and then look at what you want from the set up I don't think it would dissapoint you at all.

I'm more than happy for you to have a look but it's not plumbed in anymore for you to listen to it, if you are intersted in the sub I'll do a good combo price and again In-Phase is a very good quality speaker, I've now got the same brand in components for my front doors for when I have a chance to fit them.

One day I hope to be able to answer ICE tech questions :o :D

I'll take some pictures of the terminals for you and post up later on.

THE DOCTOR 30 April 2009 07:37 PM

appreciate it:thumb:

Have a Bass box already and a Phenix Gold amp which is pre-out only...Looking for a high input amp so that I don't have to mess around with the head unit and dash, then I can wire that one up to the rear speakers then piggy back the phenix gold to power the sub.....sounds like it's just the job, but hence why I needed confirming about the high input

Silver Scooby Sport 30 April 2009 10:17 PM

Hope these help to answer a few questions....

THE DOCTOR 30 April 2009 10:30 PM

Have you got the high power lead that plugs into that hole?

Silver Scooby Sport 30 April 2009 10:35 PM

I will check my head unit box but I don't think I have, I assume it would be an off the shelf item possibly ?

THE DOCTOR 30 April 2009 10:50 PM

REDBULL2 01 May 2009 11:58 AM

The white 5 pin plug was in the amp box Si.

Silver Scooby Sport 01 May 2009 06:46 PM

Now you've said that I've seen that plug but I've just looked it's not in the box :freak3: it's somewhere safe I know it is I'll have a root around later.

THE DOCTOR 01 May 2009 08:19 PM

Gonna check with Paul on Sunday at the meet that the set-up I have planned will work together, then get back to you in the evening:thumb:

Silver Scooby Sport 01 May 2009 10:00 PM

That's good with me... I'll see if I can find the connector over the weekend as well.
