Try to speak to the owner about servicing and maintenance and she what he/she says, it may just be lost or missing, if not done then i would keep looking.

Nice one Paul:thumb:If service is lost or missing and has been previously serviced is it still a good, also HPI clean??? might also try to haggle the price down!!

No problem. The first service is just oil and filter, however it is an imporant one and not one to miss. based on the mileage i belive it should have had just two services although how old is it. Servicing also based on age, if it is 3 or 4 y/o it might well be due a cambelt change and that is not that cheap and also a good bargaining point, if appropriate quote dealer prices to the seller and use a specialist which should save you money.

If it does not sound or feel right just walk away, plenty of cars out there at the minute:)

Its a 2005 mate!!!

NO DEAL.

Could have done 150,000 miles, been written off, not been serviced correctly and ragged to within an inch of its life. :Suspiciou

Personally, wouldn't buy a car unless it had FSH + all the receipts to prove that the history was genuine.

Is it hard to find a jdm sti with service history???
Norman dog its been HPI so does that mean its not written off??

I think that would only count from when it was registered in THIS country. :wonder:

i would only buy an import from a import dealer like Litchfields for example if it had no service history, just so there was peice of mind if something went wrong.

I'm not really in the know about imports but shouldn't it have a certificate or something saying what sort of condition etc it was when it came into the country.:wonder:
