DCCD reliabilty

Looking to possibly upgrade to a later model (facelift) classic impreza STI now do the 'normal' STIs have dccd or just the type RA or Rs.

1: How reliable is it?
2: Any common problems?

cheers

I think the normal STIs after 2005 have it and the JDM imports have it as standard earlier
