ty752 and ty745 Gearbox help required
 

I know that there are many threads on here regarding this but nothing is clarified.
Can someone confirm for me that these two boxes are interchangeable, if so do I also require any extra parts for the exchange.

I have a replacement box which I intend to fit, its from a later car TY754VN1AA will these boxes directly exchange. I have checked the transmission charts but these two dont have anything listed, I need to know if the rear diff/shafts require replacement and do i require anything else?:wonder:

Guys does anyone have any info on this?

the ty754vn1aa is a 98 > 00 box but will fit the early models like yours it bolts with 6 bolts rather than 4 so you just bolt it with 4 instead of 6 in your car also the vn1aa is a uk box same as yours and just about all uk boxs use final drive ratio of 3.9 instead of import wrx that use 4.1 and limited edition cars that use 4.4
