What do you mean by scoobyecu?

Its a 95' WRX wagon Import

The Ecu cover reads:

3B
22611 AC281
A18-000 D19

Scoobyecu was the first (or one of the first) ecu mods for early cars iirc but it doesn't look like this

ScoobyECU

so possibly a variation of it perhaps you could ask the previous onwer (if you know who that is)

Only got the car on wednesday, last owner lost the paperwork for everything and isnt sure what it is, as it was done before he got the car.

He said he was told it has been mapped for Uk fuel and a bit more boost but no idea who done it. I spose there is no way of telling without accessing the ecu and seeing hows its been mapped?

Look carefully at the picture (okay it's very blurry), the spare socket is being used buy the hoofing great daughter board that has been soldered into it and it sitting on top of the other chips shown in your picture :iamwithst

I think rather than mine being a chip its an actual daughter board that allows the car to be live mapped by the sounds of it.

Have a quick look on ebay as that is a source of chips etc that are being sold for imprezas.

yea good idea.

I need to find out what it is so then i can get the software and download the map off the ecu to see whats been done

It is a variation of the ScoobyECU.
The code '3B' probably refers to the Wagon ECU as Wagons use a 3B (as well as others).
