What clutch are you running?

this is aimed mainly at people running 350 bhp / similar torque

Whats your power/torque?
What clutch are you using?
Is it paddle?
Does it drive like OEM?

And whats the differences of a paddle clutch please?

Hey up Jon,

Exedy Hyper single, but the prices have rocketed since I got mine, but for the record a bit sharp and a touch fierce, but fine for a "toy" road car that has to do some shopping trips !

See you Sunday ?

ap racing in mine running 332bhp &303lb/ft at the mo just a little firmer under foot than a standard clutch perfect for a fast road car setup ;)

Original OE on mine (350/330ish), currently at 46k and it's fine. Smells a bit on launches if you slip the clutch too much, but apart from that does the job fine.

When it comes to changing I'd go for an Exedy organic, which by all accounts has oe feel/operation.

FWIW, it's the torque that you're putting out that matters when it comes to drivetrain components..;)

I had the same in mine, 100 odd launches, 15,000 miles and it's still as good as new and as above it feels better under the foot than standard.

I was 320BHp & 300Lb/ft and it had an organic plate, could have easily had more power on it.

Good Luck

Stock clutch at 350/330. 10 strip runs and 3 trackdays...touchwood...all is good.

Had an Exedy hyper single in my WRX which I sold last week.
330/320 and would easily handle more.

Impossible to parralel park with it though and murder in traffic. It should be called a switch clutch, not a paddle clutch. Its either on or off. No bite point.

But for track and fast road use, ideal.

340/340 ish and running standard clutch for now with no problems ............ yet lol
