does a bonnet scoop from an 01 sti fit a 97 classic?
ive seen one for sale and dont want to waste my cash if it dont fit:wonder:

Nope..They are completely different :(

The Newage scoop style has been copied by a variety of people to fit the classic though :)

im sure i read on here somewhere that somebody got one to fit, they just needed to trim 2 corners, and relocate a couple of holes:confused: but that was a wrx scoop from a bugeye

I can't imagine a newage scoop being modified to fit a clasic bonnet, they are completely different sizes LOL

The bugeye WRX and STi scoop are the same fitment, the STi is just taller.

The scoops changed yet again for the Blob/Hawk and were not backward compatible.
