Mapping question for replaced turbo (running lower boost)
My vf23 turbo died on my v3 sti the other week. I got it back today and its not hitting the boost it should be. I was running it on the 1.2 bar 35% duty setting and was hitting about 1.04 bar boost tailing off to about 0.9-0.95 whereas it used to hit 1.2 and tail off to 1.1 and hold the boost.
I'm wondering if its the actuator, they were both standard ones but I guess they vary from each one over the years? I'm pretty sure there not adjustable? If I adjust the boost setting will it affect the map re: the air/fuel etc? |
