Home Secretary in expenses apology

Home Secretary in expenses apology - , - Latest news & weather forecasts - MSN News UK

Not the £0000's for her home which she claimed as a second home:Whatever_, but for a £67 bill for internet and "adult movies" which she has promised to pay back.

The newspaper said the Virgin Media bill included two 18-rated features which each cost £5 which were viewed on April 1 and April 6 last year
Now I have the image of her sat there diddling herself in front of the tv burned into my mind:mad:
I'm off to wash my mind out with bleach.

hutton_d 29 March 2009 09:12 AM

I read that *she wasn't at home* at the time and is *furious with her hubby* ..... Can't really blame him - if I was married to her I'd be ordering in several *adult* movies a week .....

Dave

Snazy 29 March 2009 09:32 AM

Lol when I saw the thread title I knew there was never gonna be a serious apology in there.

What a story to break though haha

tanyatriangles 29 March 2009 09:33 AM

"Ms Smith said she "mistakenly" submitted an expenses claim which included five pay-per-view films, including two adult movies which were viewed at her family home in her Redditch constituency."

No, she "mistakenly" got caught:mad:

Odious biatch.

Leslie 29 March 2009 11:04 AM

Time to go-with the rest of the useless articles!

Jamz3k 29 March 2009 03:11 PM

Does this mean that they generally get their tv/broadband etc paid for them?

What a joke, Its just a matter of time before people do rebel imo. Wonder who pays their TV License?

Should resign - won't.

Should be sacked - won't happen.

The madman in charge is too busy destroying what's left of the country to care.

No shame, no morals, no standards.

Timwinner 29 March 2009 05:17 PM

Yup!

Apparently it was her husband who was beating his meat whilst watching porn at a cost to the tax payer whilst his gorgeous wife was away!

More POS politicians and their families at it! Apparently she was "not happy" i wonder if it was because her husband was spanking the monkey, watching porn or he committed fraud - still, he got away with it.

Her husband is one of her paid staff - he apologised publicly earlier.

TBH i do not care if he apologised, either he is an idiot or he was committing fraud, he is in charge of her expenses and office and running it and if it was him then he should be done for it. Pretty sure anybody else would be sacked, I do doubt he will loose his cushy well paid job working for his wife and paid for courtesy of the tax paying public.

About time a few bent MP's and their families who work for them got done and an example was set.

I am so sick and tired of how some MP's are misusing and abusing the system and making merry with taxpayers money - especially given the current financial climate

Looks like her hubby really is a right W@nker

DIRTY BOMBS NOT THAT DIRTY, CLAIMS SMITH - The Daily Mash

:lol::lol:

Leslie 30 March 2009 10:28 AM

Seems as though her very well paid husband has dropped her right in the dwang. Would not want to be in his shoes when she eventually goes back to her "secondary home" to where her children and he live permanently.

Time this lot of cheating A' holes were sorted out, those in all the parties of course!

It was comparatively good in previous times when we had politicians of good character whom you felt you could at least trust pretty well to behave in a morally correct fashion and also to think about the country and the people in it rather than themselves above all others!

Les :(

Gear Head 30 March 2009 10:39 AM

I just don't see how they are aloud to claim for a second home. Ever heard of relocating?
Or commuting? They're the ones who claim that our public transport is so fantastic. USE IT! I think we are going to see a lot more come out in the wash this year.

Yeah Right.

She was at home alright, probably with dodo juice dripping all over her face after a spit roasting by hubby and A N Other :D

Midlife...... 30 March 2009 12:02 PM

Just have a look at what else they can claim !!

BBC NEWS | Politics | A guide to MPs' pay and expenses

beggars belief

^^^^From the above post - Makes you weep as what they can claim for!^^^^

STAFFING ALLOWANCE
Worth up to £100,205 a year, this allows MPs to employ staff, but is paid directly to staff by the Commons finance department. There is no ban on MPs employing their spouse or other relative and paying them using the staffing allowance, but MPs now have to declare any relatives employed. Home Secretary Jacqui Smith employs her husband Richard Timney as her aide on a salary that could be as much as £40,000 a year.

So the likes of Smiff can claim 40k per year for her incompetant husband and as if he does not get enough he fiddles the internet account so he can watch w@nk movies!

boxst 30 March 2009 12:30 PM

This is either arrogant or incompetent (or both). If you know that expenses are a hot issue, you make damn sure you are squeaky clean. Claim for everything within your rights, but don't push it if someone is going over them with a fine toothcomb.

Steve

jonc 30 March 2009 12:37 PM

It'll be even better if it turns out that her husband was watching not just porn, but gay porn.

So it turns out that the "dirty bomb" warning was actually advanced warning about her husband's dirty bomb shell!

SunnySideUp 30 March 2009 12:37 PM

The Movie was entitled 'Expenses of MP's' apparently many MP's get into a lather and get rather excited by the prospect of "dippin' their bread"

We need a good clear out .... all MP's of all parties need to be rooted out if taking the taxpayer for granted.

She has the lowest majority in the Cabinet, she stands the very real chance of losing her job next year ... she probably feels like she needs to make hay while the sun shines?

GC8WRX 30 March 2009 12:49 PM

Winding up payment, if someone dies or leaves the house and their work needs finishing off or tying up the new mp gets 40k to sort it out, surely thats called "doing your job" and as such deserves no special payments at all!

DJ_Jon 30 March 2009 01:09 PM

I can't believe he actually paid for the porn, seriously, it's so easy to get it for free from the internet.. Amateur! :lol1:

SJ_Skyline 30 March 2009 01:38 PM

Gordon Brown has said Home Secretary Jacqui Smith's use of Commons expenses for two adult films watched by her husband should be a "personal matter".
Not when it's paid for with public money you one-eyed robbing *******!

Snazy 30 March 2009 02:20 PM

Might have known Brown would come out with something limp wristed like that. Needs to learn something from Smiffies hubby, he must have stronger wrists!

austinwrx 30 March 2009 03:14 PM

i'd love to know the titles of the films. bet he's crapping himself awaiting that to come out too.

it won't be long.

be funny if its something like shaving ryan's privates

he looks like a fat noel edmonds- you can see his apology on bbc news.

Leslie 31 March 2009 11:09 AM

The excuses for her by her leader are an indication of desperation anyway!

I don't believe that you consider that a fair reason for immorally claiming expenses that could in no way be justified.

Les
