I must be getting old....

Watching it again on Gold and wondering why nothing new has replaced it. It was a bit hit and miss, but mainly a good watch with a lot of phrases that are still used now!

It only ended a few years ago, but there's been nothing close to it since.

As an aside; I have met P Whitehouse and he is the most miserable, dour, and soulles person you would ever wish to meet. A ****

I was surprised. You imagine creative, funny people to be the same in real life. He wasnt.

Classic stuff had every series on VHS and had ti bin the lot when I emigrated no one wanted them at the boot sale, they dont know what they missed.

Got the full series on DVD.

Funny was just talking about the Fast Show on Saturday night in the pub. Don't actually remember much because I was very, very drunk:D

I agree with FP. The art of real comedy seems to be going down the tubes with everything else that used to be good.

They now have to rely on gutter jokes and filthy language just to try to get any kind of a laugh.

Shows lack of comic ability and power of expression.

Thank goodness for Gold I say.
