Peter,

IMHO, something like the V, or 30R is as big as I would recommend for a stock linered 2.5lt block. Pushed to the limits, even these are more than capable of destroying the stock liners.

So, people will have to decide just how far they're prepared to push their luck.

As for your next step, what power do you want to achieve ? Easy step is the 35R, or hybrid, but to make it really worth while, the GT4088, but it's a S.O.B to fit, firstly being a lot bigger, and secondly, it's a T4 flange, so won't fit the generally available rotated kits.

So if you want to upgrade from a V you are pretty much stumped until further notice;)

Or if you put a rotated 30R in for now then your next upgrade is pretty much a stone throw away:norty:

Mark..what is my best next turbo upgrade that i can go for?

frayz

i went for the rcm 500 which I can't see being a million miles away from a 321v, im not to sure what boost Bob will run but i did go for 14 mm head studs

RCM did my work and the cost of the rotated system out weighed the advantages as i don't think i will need any more power at a later date ( yes i have siad that before  ) - not to mention who is to say when i want an upgrade there will not be a "better" option

as soon as mine is ran in and mapped I will post some graphs but should be 480 - 500bhp assuming runnng about 1.8 bar on v power

I would hope there is more to come from standard fit (from all suppliers), as AET have a number of different combinations and ideas they would like to test..... I am sure they are not alone.

I need to justify the time and cost to do this and whether I actually have the inclination now.

I would strongly suggest that people get a drive in say a 500bhp car, set-up properly, running as well as it can. Many many people will be surprised to what a real 500bhp is like. It puts many things in to context, especially when you have a pre-determined power level goal.... just for power level sake.
