this from today's telegraph
** 'PRINCE' NASEEM COUSIN JAILED A cousin of boxer "Prince" Naseem Hamed has been jailed for four months for crashing the ex-champion's £45,000 Subaru Impreza at 80mph. Andruoos Yafai, 18, shunted another car into a public telephone box, injuring a man who was using it. He was banned from driving for 18 months. ** 22b bites the dust. however, would you let your teenage cousin drive your very high performance car unaccompanied by someone with a little maturity...... |
Well that prat Naseem obviously has more money than sense
|
Wicked.
Should be longer though. |
... more good press for the impreza then... hmm..
at least he got locked up for it! |
ex-champion? Has someone finally defeated that little twirp? |
I remember this from a few months ago....hadn't the guy doing the driving (or not http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif ) just picked it up from a body shop where it had been subject to a previous repair http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif
Perhaps the owner should be taken to task about letting an obviously inexperienced driver loose in a 22b http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Yex |
If he's anything like his cousin, maybe he couldn't see over the steering wheel. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif |
Not unless he sits on his ego ... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I let my teenage son drive mine at Brands last November. He did bloody well, good track behaviour, awareness and was quick with it. Made for a very proud Dad http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Richard |
richard,
good for him (& good for you for teaching him the necessary respect & responsibility - i don't mean that to sound in the slightest bit patronising!!) come to think of it, jenson button in an f1 car at...er, 19. i guess i wouldn't feel comfortable until they'd done IAM or something similar to ensure their competence and my piece of mind. s'pose it depends on how mature your kid is too.. |
